you can get an s2000 for about the same price (or less) than you can an srt-4.

supercharge or turbo the s2k (add about 5-6k to do it right) and it will PWN the srt-4.

you're basically saying "look the srt-4 comes stock turbocharged, tell me a stock honda that does that" when it's a bit like comparing apples and oranges.

For the record, I like both cars (my boyfriend had an srt-4, just traded it in for an S2000, and as soon as my S2000 ceases to be my daily driver it's getting either supercharged or turbo'd).

sorry, rambling. my point still stands that you can buy an AP1 s2000 and an srt-4 for about the same price, both stock, and the S2000 will give the srt-4 a run for its money (depending on driver skill or course and whether you're doing a straight line race or an actual course- s2000's love the curves but generally suck if you're just doing 0-60 compared to their results in actual courses)

I like that I spent less than a grand and can run in the 12s, and seat 4 comfortably, and get 30mpg. I guess a neon with a body kit fits what I need out of a car.

also when you turbo/supercharge that s2000 where is your warranty going to go.. that's right out the window.


you can rock stage1-3 mopar style and still maintain the factory warranty.

it's a win win situation. although more gains can be made for less money by not going the mopar route.. the whole point is you get to keep you warranty going the route though.

also when you super/turbo a na car or do any heavy mods to them the value of the car will go down in comparison to the amount of money you invested to do the work and the return you receive when you go to sell it.

compared to leaving it stock.

hahahahahaha, stage 1 they usually don't care about, stage 2 they can bitch about, stage 3 they likely won't do crap if something goes wrong with the engine or tranny. Luckily the stage upgrades have the same drivability as stock and go through the same durability testing to make sure the engine isn't stressed too much.

but yeah, the mopar upgrades are great for daily drivers who don't want to worry about tuning and still make good power.
