^ not really. Duke has a pitiful offense and a nice defense. They have been playing ridiculously low scoring games for the most part. In the 60s a lot..

Duke hasn't played a bad schedule. They just don't look like a serious contender this year. I see 6 or maybe even 7 ACC losses for them. UNC will absolutely run train on them and a team like GTech should handly them pretty easily as well. Aristotle is blind and will dispute this but it's true. I'm a UConn fan but even I know they are just too young and inexperienced to be able to really compete this year, just like Duke. (though at least UConn is really athletic unlike the Merry Band of Future Assistant Coaches in Durham)

On a somewhat related note, good God the Big East blows this year.. Dom Mejia has been pretty nasty for Drexel who just beat Syracuse (and Nova last week).

^^ I'm not betting with some anonymous person on the Internet. I'll save that for actual lines. UNC WILL beat them twice (or three times if they meet in the ACC Toruney) and they will lose 5-7 games in the ACC. Quit being delusional.

^ I don't have a problem with someone rooting for a team where they didn't go as long as they have connections (and I don't mean just living in the same state -- I mean close family who went there, a graduate degree, transferred out of the place, etc, etc) but I think it's pathetic that a State student/alum would root against State for ANYONE (not saying Aristotle does b/c I have no idea..)

You sound like a die hard unc fan when you post. You act like they are team invincible and forget that they are young too. Destroying Florida Atlantic does not mean they are the best team ever. Its not even delusional to think that state has a shot at winning one of the unc games. Every team in the acc is beatable this year.

saying any team will sweep any team for sure is a bit silly but saying a top 6 team will be swept for sure is nonsense even if unc had one of their best teams ever, which they don't.

First, Duke isn't a Top 6 team first of all regardless of the rankings. I don't even think the most diehard Duke fan would think they are as good as their ranking this year.

Second, I am level headed. I don't like UNC but I realize they are very, very good and they do have some experienced leadership, not to mention the freshman are infinitely more athletic than Duke's.

Third, no I can't meet you at the game tonight. I live 2,500 miles away from the RBC Center.

you act like there are set requirements for a top 6 team. There are no dominant teams this year. (well i dont know about osu with oden but for the most part everybody is on a level of parity). you can't possibly sit there and tell me wichita state is clearly better than Duke. What makes Duke not a top 6 team in your opinion? do you have to score 80ppg to be top 6? and your athleticism thing is foolish. Its not like duke has ivy league athleticism anyway. Are you saying just because most of the players are white that they are less athletic? Even if athleticism was the key to winning basketball games I wouldn't understand your argument here because Duke has some amazing athletes. Talent isn't even everything but the talent is there. Then a decent schedule with the only loss coming on the 2nd of back to back nights against ranked teams.

I think you are just looking at ppg and basing everything off that.

The only reason Duke will make it far in the NCAA tourney this year is because the committee will give them a high seed as a gift.
