The better the bowl, the better the exposure. And, the better the exposure, the more likely N.C. State will recruit top-notch talent. A former military man, O’Brien won’t have a problem boosting the esteem of his players — and their grade point average. Boston College regularly boasted one of the top graduation rates in the country, even posting a 100 percent mark in 2004. Sure, Butch Davis resurrected a Miami program. It’s likely that he’ll do the same at UNC. He just won’t do it as quickly as O’Brien. "
