Power buff ball

i have the feeling that the lil foam powerball will get torn up rather quickly on a diamondplate toolboxnapa sells a good aluminum cleaner/brightenerbut probably the fastest easiest thing to do is hit a truck stop and get the 2 step kit for cleaning aluminum wheels on 18 wheelers. first it cleans/brightens it, then polishes it out.

they have this stuff at lowe's / northern, its a two part cleaner in one bottle, shake it up. its a clear bottle w/ a silver / blue label. works great, just for toolboxes

Any good wheel cleaner like P-21S and a stiff bristled brush would probably help. It wouldn't be the same as polishing it though.

fastest thing i've found to get off oxidation

the diamond brite stuff at lowes near the toolboxes pwnts all, that shit is butter

^yeah, that shit does work good. i got some stuff called Alumi-X for my boat. it made that shit look like new. the only problem is it won't have a shine to it afterwards since it's basically a sudsing acid. the best thing for a diamond-plate toolbox is indoor/outdoor carpet. squirt some liquid polish on it and scrub it with the carpet then just wipe off with a towel.

yeah, since that's all i do is clean, clean, clean.keep talking shit. you know your house is in my 2nd-in territory.

cool, thanks guysI'd like to polish it up and get the latches working before I decide to buy another box
