getting married or something?

well it all depends on your teeth and how fast they can cure.i had braces, but for much much shorter than the orthodontist said. but other people get them for much longer.they have products that go behind the teeth so its pretty much invincible.

don't you mean, invisible ? or superman like braces?
12/17/2006 3:11:54 PM
you've got a great smile, dont waste the money
12/17/2006 3:22:37 PM
i assume this is a request for an orthodontist and not a dentist
12/17/2006 4:08:07 PM
Nope... I meant dentists.... I know certain dentists do 6 month braces and Invisalign. I know of two in Raleigh. Dr. Martin and Dr. Schmorr. Dr. Schmorr has radio commercials on 93.9 or 102.9, but I wanted someone w/ personal experience.6 Month Braces are different from reg. braces and reg. dentists do them.

I need a little brace face touch up as well. But fortunately my godfather is a orthodontist in Raleigh.

my teeth are a little messed up...i always wanted braces but my mom was too cheap to get themi wouldnt mind getting some that were like invisible or something

Getting braces for a short amount of time kind of defeats the purpose and is a waste of money in the long run.

If you go see an orthodontist, they might just give you a retainer to wear and file your teeth if overcrowding is an issue especially if you have had braces before. With the retainer, it does not take long to for your teeth to move. The retainer is a lot cheaper than getting braces.

Really? I did have braces when I was little but my orthodontist was stupid and didn't get my wisdom teeth removed so they grew in sideways and pushed to create the overcrowding.Do you know any orthodontists who you can recommend? Thank you.

When did you become a dentist/orthodontist? Perhaps I should visit you.Besides if you read the thread, my parents spent quite a lot of money on the braces you think are so wonderful and obviously that turned out REAL well.[Edited on December 18, 2006 at 3:07 PM. Reason : slowwww]

You can waste your money if you want, but it's kind of dumb considering you want "not to have real braces" more than you want your teeth straight.Edit: Yeah, sometimes you have to get real braces again. It happens. Especially when they fucked it up the first time. Derr.[Edited on December 18, 2006 at 3:08 PM. Reason : .]

Since my teeth are obviously of such great concern to you but yet you've offered no suggestions...I'll let you in on a little secret...I just set up a consultation w/ Dr. Kent... an orthodontist...I guess you can stop whining to me like a little bitch now. [Edited on December 18, 2006 at 3:11 PM. Reason : ]

Whining? No. Just inform yourself a little better. Seeing as you have now finally revealed that you had braces and the Orthodontist fucked it up, this thread no longer serves a purpose.
12/18/2006 3:13:56 PM
Nah I would call it whining...Google image search...That's effective. Don't be mad- be glad!!I will have a 'purdier' smile and you can go back to google. We all win.

I've had braces for the last year. My doctor isn't fucking up, either. I'll let you know how it turns out.
12/18/2006 3:18:59 PM
C'mon. At least give me another picture of someone who went to a dentist to get their 'teef' fixed and ended up w/ no 'teef'.

Looks are very important to most successful people. Having braces is not a plus. She is looking for alternatives to braces... what's the problem?
