I think GE pays pretty well, starting somewhere around low 60's. But rumor has it every year they cut the bottom 10% of the workforce.[Edited on December 19, 2006 at 5:35 AM. Reason : blue jay are you taking the PE this spring?]

They used to do that, but haven't done it in a while. Quite frankly, I wish that they still did it though.Pay is pretty good too. And Yes, Greenville is GE Energy, and a small component of Aviation.
