when you say horseshoe, do you mean union?
12/14/2006 10:20:43 PM
horseshoe could mean union or intersection...depending on if it's facing up or down
12/14/2006 10:29:04 PM
...its facing open side left...if yall dont know what your talking about then dont bother fucking posting you retards

that might be a symbol for implies as in Bx implies Mx ...but I could be way off

I think hes talking about containment. as in a subset or something.

1 - I can't believe you are taking logic. Your first post is horrendous, in every shape and form.2 - People, it is obvious he means "if, then" by the horseshoe.3 - I would go with the second one. I took this stuff in 1996, and haven't looked at it since then. Tell me if my translations are correct:a) For all x, if (if x is a bplayer, then x got mad), then miles got mad. (don't know how to write it simpler, owing to the two implications.b) For all x, if x is a bplayer and x got mad, then miles for mad.I think it is obvious the second one IS correct. The first one is weird. Maybe it somehow reduces to the same thing, but I can't see how, and I seriously doubt it.
