how come nobody has made a way to use that streaming video as a desktop wallpaper?that would be dope, constantly on in the background, or if the w-y-y-z-ar-ddd interrupts the stream it defaults to a still image until the feed comes backi did google, but maybe i wasn't using the right words or terms[Edited on December 13, 2006 at 10:29 AM. display properties -> Desktop -> Customize Desktop -> Web -> Setup web page as desktop

i guess i should have said "how come I havent figured out a way" thx^although that didnt really do waht i wanted it to doi mean it basically becomes the wallpaper...and doing that only made it pop up on the background but not integrate with the background[Edited on December 13, 2006 at 10:35 AM. Write your own webpage that uses the video however you want to use it. Set that as your desktop.

That was one of my favorite settings on those tv tuner cards that everyone bought off of NewEgg. (LedTek or something like that) You could use live TV as your desktop wallpaper. Of course forget about running too many other things when it is playing in the background, but it was pretty neat none the less.

i always hated that "feature" or ideawhy the fuck would you want to watch something under all your icons, application windows, and docks?especially something like TV where you actually have to watch. the webcam i sort of understand - just to catch a glimpse of it here and there when your programs are minimized or closed. but then again, if you don't have any business being on the computer, why are you in front of it...
