I am getting a mp3 player for my sister and her husband for christmas, but I don't want to spend 100+ dollars for an ipod. What are some good mp3 players that will only cost around $50?

Sandisk Sansa M Models. They're small flash players, work off 1 AA battery. You should be able to pick up a 1gb for under $50 in the newspaper ads this week.

My girlfriend found a 1 gb player at Wal-Mart for $70 yesterday. They also had a couple of players for around $50.

^^^ i don't know how podcasts work outside of itunes, my wife only uses hers for audiobooks she burns. it won't be as seamless as iTunes is.

^^ i know last week there were some for around $50. I guess I didn't check this week's ads for this one in particular
