I can't believe we got Tom O'Brien? YAY?

He's a good coach and all but it was time for BC to move on and there was no way he could be fired with the constant above averageness, but something just wasn't right. He was great at winning the easy games and I commend him for that. At BC you're not just playing against the other team and it proved too much against all the great, top teams that were near BC's level. Several championships have been squandered by O'Brien in the big games that he always lost because he sat back and let his team get robbed time after time. Just like this year. Should have been a perfect season. Glendale instead of Charlotte.

I'm sure BC will step up and get a stern/take no shit type of guy. Tom was not a great fit for BC but he should be good enough to do just fine at State where he won't have to worry about the same things and can just play football.

On a different topic, I don't understand why people call me a yankee. Being a redsox fan 4life, I hate the yankees more than anyone here and my ancestors aren't even from Britain.

off topic, but "yankees" does not refer to New Yorkers, it applies to people from the north, so anyone from Mass is definitely a yankee.

I'm tempted to expand the definition to include anyone from a state north of the Mason-Dixon, which would include most of what's traditionally called the "midwest"
