I'm trying to get out of my lease so that I can move in with my girlfriend, so if someone needs somewhere to live for next semester let me know! My lease runs out on May 31st.I live in a privately owned 4 bedroom apartment in a complex (it's in University Oaks, right near the intersection of Gorman and Western). The people that own it did a really good job of improving it, the kitchen and living room area are hardwood, it has nice track lighting on the ceiling, etc. The bedroom itself isn't huge, but it does have a private bathroom which happens to be the biggest one in the apartment (everyone has their own, so no one shares or anything). They painted it before I got there with nice paint instead of the crappy chalky stuff some apartments use, and it has a ceiling fan and a fairly large closet. The room is well taken care of (you won't have to play any games of "guess what the stain is" or anything). The owner is a really cool guy, so no worries about having an ass munch for a landlord. The other people that live in the apartment are nice guys, and for the most part they keep to themselves. The best part: Rent is only 300 a month, plus utilities, which are split by 4 people so they generally run about 60 a month (electricity, cable and internet).PM me if you're interested!

what floor is this room on?
12/12/2006 4:50:31 PM
Apartment is on the 3rd floor (yes, i know, moving your stuff up 2 flights of stairs is annoying, but it's a really nice apartment!)

third floor is really the best at U Oaks, I have lived on the first floor before and I liked pretty much everything except the noise of people climbing the stairs right outside my room.

It's worth saying too, the bedroom comes unfurnished, but if there's somebody that doesn't own bedroom stuff for whatever reason, we'll probably be getting rid of some of ours that we could sell you for cheap (bed, small bookcase, etc). The people that live in the apartment already have taken care of the living room furniture and any kind of kitchen cookware you might need.
