if they play OSU they will get beaten by at least 3tdsyou might as well hand them the NC if they play UFbtw, out of all the "super tough" SEC teams, who won any decent out of conference game?no onetheir inflated rankings are due to the fellatio the media gives them for beating up on each otherArkansas is not that good, nor is Auburn, nor is LSU

who cares...OSU will win either way, so you might as well make it a game that appeals to the largest regional fanbase.of course, if you didnt care about viewership and just made it be who earns it, then you'd have a playoff.
12/3/2006 5:14:47 PM
Michigan lost to the only decent team in the Big Ten and it shouldn't have been as close as it was. They didn't win their weak conference, so get over it.
12/3/2006 5:16:18 PM
somebody's bitter
12/3/2006 5:35:26 PM
sure would be nice to have both the basketball and football championships.
12/3/2006 5:42:04 PM
If you can't win your conference, you shouldn't be in the national title game, it's that simple.Plus OSU really beat Michigan by 10 and they weren't really busting their ass in the second half to run up the score.I think OSU and Michigan are both going to be in bad shape come bowl game time, neither will have played in about 45-50 days, and that kind of lay-over is terrible for your team.I'd love to see Florida beat OSU and then watch all those Michigan fans have to put their foot in their mouth, haha.OSU should beat either team. The only reason you think Michigan should be in the game is because you are a Michigan fan.
12/3/2006 6:25:28 PM
Im sure everyone's opinion on here that the SEC is overrated is correct instead of the professional sports writers opinions that the SEC is the toughest conference
12/3/2006 7:14:18 PM
they dont actually watch games, being their entire career is based off them. they just look at the news clips.
12/3/2006 7:15:54 PM
what conference is tougher?
12/3/2006 7:16:03 PM
^that can't honestly be a serious questionhave you ever heard the team "Big 2, Little 9"?[Edited on December 3, 2006 at 7:25 PM. Reason : my point still stands]

12/3/2006 7:27:57 PM
^^ i'd say overrated yes
12/3/2006 7:28:18 PM
it sounds like there are only 2 good teams then
12/3/2006 7:29:23 PM
Hell, I think I'd rather see LSU in over Florida.
12/3/2006 7:29:30 PM
unfortunately for you, florida beat the shiite out of lsu
12/3/2006 7:30:21 PM
you cant tell me you watched the UF-Ark game and thought you were watching the 1st or 2nd best team in the country
12/3/2006 7:31:01 PM
funny how lsu is decent at times, but lost to 2 garbage teams and beat 3 others (that includes miss state) by less than a touchdown.[Edited on December 3, 2006 at 7:35 PM. Reason : were they decent when playing tulane and all those other awesome schools then? sounds like michigan]
12/3/2006 7:34:48 PM
looked pretty good @ tennessee and arkansasflorida and auburn are garbage[Edited on December 3, 2006 at 7:37 PM. Reason : .]
12/3/2006 7:37:02 PM
I wouldn't say they're garbage but neither of them should be the #2 team in the country.
12/3/2006 7:38:39 PM
^^ precisely the 2 teams they lost to. though im guessing you knew it. wah.
12/3/2006 7:39:21 PM
any decent D should be able to easily stop Chris Leak (who is one huge reason why i think UF is garbage)
12/3/2006 7:39:50 PM
so cyrion do you want to make some bets. UF may go to Glendale but won't come back with the NC.[Edited on December 3, 2006 at 7:43 PM. Reason : ]

cant wait to see the bullshit at 8pmI hope OSU kills florida and shows the nation how overrated the gators and the SEC are

meeechigan is about to get pwned!
12/3/2006 7:51:27 PM
http://www.footballfoundation.com/pdf/bcs06/120306l.pdfThere are the standings. Florida in officially.
12/3/2006 7:52:12 PM
i agree our offense is real hit-or-miss, but our D is pretty consistent. i doubt we'll get raped like some of you are saying assuming half the guys that got hurt last weekend are able to come back. kinda rough when thomas gets booted off, joiner/mcdonald got hurt in the title game, smith pulled something it looked like, and everett/siler both had injuries they're still working on.
12/3/2006 7:53:33 PM
it would be better if we had a split nat'l championship
12/3/2006 7:54:06 PM
^ it's happened before
12/3/2006 7:55:04 PM
^i was thinking about that, have tOSU lose barely and meechigan kill whoever the fuck they get stuck with
12/3/2006 7:55:20 PM
The way I look at it, Michigan is the better team and deserves to be in the NC game. But, if they did go and beat OSU, I would feel torn because how can you claim to be the national champions when you split with OSU head to head? Both teams would come out the same conference, same record and a split in head to head matchups. So, that's why I would rather see the next best team play OSU. The only fair thing to do would be for Florida and Michigan to play for the right to play OSU. But since that can't happen, OSU/Florida would be my vote.
