What about your boy Vince Young?
12/3/2006 2:52:24 PM
for those who don't know, hester had a 45 yard punt return in the first half today vs. the vikings.i think marques colston will get it.
12/3/2006 2:53:17 PM
hahahawhat about your boy reggie bush? oooooohh
12/3/2006 2:53:24 PM
Don't they have both defensive and offensive?Colston & Hester
12/3/2006 2:54:43 PM
Hester just plays special teams so how do you decide which one he gets, if he qualifies?
12/3/2006 2:57:36 PM
Well he's listed as a CB.
12/3/2006 2:59:11 PM
Definitely Colston.
12/3/2006 2:59:44 PM
Colstonbut hester is a huge asset
12/3/2006 3:02:57 PM
DeMeco Ryans definitely defensively .. funny how the top picks for each respective team (Bush and Mario) have both been outdone by 'afterthoughts' in the draft (Colston and Ryans)
12/3/2006 5:54:50 PM
Costner.
12/3/2006 5:55:19 PM

I knew it wouldn't be long before this thread got fucked up
12/3/2006 7:36:45 PM
Ryans wasn't an afterthought, many thought he had first round talent. He didn't slip too far out of the first.
12/3/2006 9:02:20 PM
Vince Young bitches
12/11/2006 1:01:13 AM
Maurice Jones-Drew bitches
12/11/2006 4:57:56 PM
Too bad their's not a first year starter award--Philip would get it
12/11/2006 5:13:00 PM
Still making a case.
12/11/2006 9:29:35 PM

12/11/2006 11:54:46 PM
RIVERS FOR POY NOT MANNING!
12/12/2006 8:37:42 AM
Marcus McNiell should get strong consideration. He's been playing like a pro-bowler at left tackle as a rookie.
12/12/2006 10:34:19 AM
12/12/2006 10:44:06 AM
Did you guys see the kickoff return for a TD by Hester...Hester for ROTY no doubt... He's already tied the NFL record for returns for TD at 5
12/12/2006 11:18:19 AM
Actually he's got the record at 6. He had 2 last night.
12/12/2006 11:34:02 AM
Anyone see Torry doggin' Hester after his touchdown??"Once I saw it was Hester...I knew he'd react."Veteran savy.
12/12/2006 12:05:22 PM
Hester isn't going to win ROY, although he should. He should be special teams player of the year though.Hester also returned the following KO for a TD after Holt scored on him.
12/12/2006 12:59:07 PM
Joseph Addai
12/12/2006 1:45:16 PM
ha even Louisiana is 67% Colston, 20% Bush on the ROTY poll.
12/12/2006 3:25:39 PM
i wonder if hester's gonna be the next dante hall and disappear.
12/12/2006 3:26:34 PM
colston in a landslide if he hadn't gotten hurt. he still should get to 1,000 yards, even after missing 3 games, but i think it may be young. it's been a good year for rookies in the nfl this year, for real.
12/12/2006 3:29:36 PM
I haven't heard anything from colston! Hester is breaking records, I don't see how you can call it a landslide.I haven't seen him on sc highlights or anything. I diddn't even know who he was until I googled him.my list is this1)Hester2)Young3) Jones Drew4) colston...5) Gore6) Bush[Edited on December 12, 2006 at 3:44 PM. Reason : ^^I was thinking the same thing]
12/12/2006 3:41:23 PM
Seriously, a return man. I know he's been a great player and broke a record and all...but Colston, week in and week out, minus his injury week, has been spectacular. I picked him up in fantasy and he's won me numerous weeks.

12/12/2006 3:50:35 PM
^ you're being sarcastic, right? i mean, you must be. how about this for value to the team - colston's performance in training camp allowed the saints to trade donte stallworth to the eagles for scott fujita. fujita is having a good year, helping shore up what was a terrible linebacking corp last season.so not only was colston one of the top receivers in the league (at least statistically) before he got injured, he allowed the team to trade for help in a huge need area.oh, forget about it. this dude obviously know nothing about football, considering he has gore down on his roty list....[Edited on December 12, 2006 at 3:56 PM. 12/12/2006 3:55:32 PM
pad, it's not our or his fault you've been ignorant about Colston to this point. He was a 7th round pick out of hofstra, 4th to last pick in the draft, and he's likely going to break 1000 yards.he also draws countless double teams, allowing names like Terrence Copper to get receptions.
12/12/2006 3:56:29 PM
^^^ mark simoneau*scott fujita was brought over from dallas after starting his career in kansas city[Edited on December 12, 2006 at 3:57 PM. Reason : same for shanle, payton loves cobwebs lbs]
12/12/2006 3:57:07 PM
damn dammit, idk why the hell I put gore up there?!?! I'm getting ahead of myself.I think you guys are basing this on yards solely. Im basing this on (if the team didnt have these guys where would they be). Colston injured, his team still wins.
12/12/2006 4:00:23 PM
^^ yeah, that's what i meant. thanks for keeping me straight!
12/12/2006 4:05:41 PM
so you're saying Hester is the key to all Chicago's success?
