i create a header/footer on one page, do a page break to get a new page, and i can't create a separate header/footer on that 2nd page, it is linked to the previous page no matter what i try (the link button refers to a previous header/footer that are different...)

any help please

insert a Section break on the next page, then "unlink" the header in the new section/page.

File -> Page Setup -> Click Layout Tab -> Headers and Footers Section -> Click Different First Page -> OK

yeah, ^ is for different 1st page, ^^ is for at any point in the paper you want to change headers
