I got a new mattress, and I'm not sure what to do with my old one and boxspring. The delivery guys wouldn't take it when they brought the new one, so I need somewhere to take it. Transporting it isn't a problem, I just don't know where to take it. Suggestions.......

Stick it in the free section of craigslist and see what happens.I tried to donate one a long time ago and goodwill wouldn't touch it.

boxspring you could probably sell for like 5-10 bucks- the mattress you might be able to sell too (assuming you don't have any bodily fluid stains on it)

You should save it till the next ice/snow storm, and then use it to go sledding on

^that's actually a really good idea- over at lake dam, a mattress was the best thing i rode down on a few years back

Yeah when we had that nasty ice/snow storm about 3 winters ago I slid down the roads in The Links when I lived there on the mattress. You just run really fast, then do a flying belly flop onto the matress and go

you can fit like 3-5 people on one too, so when you come crashing at the end, it is a big mess (= fun)

cum dumpster

You could hang it from a tree and put up a sign that says "Ride the Haunted Mattress - $5."This post was inspired by a true haunted mattress ride located in Edistow, SC.
