Can't be too high.

I know highway patrolmen have pretty tough physical tests you have to pass. Although I don't think they make them maintain anything.

are they constant standards or initial hire requirements - theres some chubby cops out there!

They are just standard requirements for gaining employment with the SBI, Hwy. Patrol, etc. They test situps (1min.), pushups (1min.), 1.5M run, & sit & reach. I just haven't seen exactly what the requirements are.

some depts, like mine have once a year PT tests
