Current or former car rental employees can help: Do rental agencies check your driving record for tickets or anything, or do they just make sure your license is valid? While on that topic, do they even check for validity? Sometimes I wonder if people with suspended or even forged licenses can rent cars (no I'm not a terrorist, just curious). Just want to know how much of my information they might have access to.

At Enterprise we just put the number and expiration date in. Thats it.

no they dont check your driving record.

all they check is that you have a licence, its not expired or going to expire while you have the car, it matches the name on your credit card or debit card, and they have an available amount over cost of the rental
