is there any solution or product out there that i can just submerge my glasses in that will eat away all the oils and grime, specifically in the nosepiece area, that won't damage the lenses or frame?

*sigh* If only this was a chit-chat thread... I would have just trashed it. FYI, B.

Is there one? I got that green shit kicking now too.

For the green shit (the "trees" and whatnot that grow on the nosepads) just take it back to where you got the glasses. Unless they're cheap assholes they should give you new nosepads for free (lenscrafters and the eye doctor's spot that I go to now give out free nosepads). For getting rid of oils/grime on the glasses, I use this free spray and cloth that came with my glasses. It's called AR HP, but it's for anti-reflective lenses.Honestly it just smells like windex, so go for some of that.

plain liquid handsoap (no moisturizer crap or anything like that in it). dry w/ a lint free nonscratching cloth (like a cloth diaper/burp cloth -- is what my old optometrist used to suggest and use in the office)And free replacement nosepads from where you got the glasses (like someone said above)

Well shit son, just walk into lenscrafters and say "Hi I bought these at a lenscrafters three years ago and I was wondering if I can get my nosepads replaced for free."If they say no, just leave.
