It's a normal 10 gallon tank. It has a crack that's about 12 inches long near the bottom on one side. I don't know if it could be repaired to hold water but would be fine for a hamster or mouse, ect.

if it's got sharp edges on the inside bottom/lower sides it might. they scratch around a lot, and their paws are pretty tiny so it could catch...

you could use aquarium silicone to both cover the sharp edge and make it water tightI make a custom aquarium to fit inside an old computer out of plain cut pieces of glass using aquarium silicone to join them and it never leaked http://www.northcoastmarines.com/silicone_sealer.htm

^Yep, I think they are $10 at Walmart.Here are the pictures:I can only see the crack in the middle in this picture. It actually goes all the way to the left side.A closer shot of the crack. The color is off in this picture... the first one is what it really looks like.
