get rid of portee, hes had alot of good talent that has gone to waste, cignetti is pretty crappy too, he was a horrible qbs coach and look how hes doing with the tes. id definately keep the dl coach stroud and the oline coach myers. i think id keep the wrs coach dixon, hes a good coach and a good recruiter. id dump dunlap, cignetti, portee, and kravitz. I have a feeling portee and williams will be retiring

TRESTMAN!PORTEE!cignetti is coolstroud is coolactually, pretty much everyone except amato is cool. ^ what rb's has portee wasted? jackson was never meant to be a perennial 1,000 back. mclendon came into the program with a flat tire, and then busted the others as well as the engine while he was here. davis was really never given a fair shot in games to show us what he can do, however he was pretty cocky and he was a non-injured and non-fumbling version of mclendon. brown and baker are both badass. eugene looks to have a bright future. all the players love portee, and he is well regarded as being an excellent coach by other coaches.if you want to talk about wasting "talent", then look at the o-line. all of our running backs have done remarkably well considering the busts we've had on the o-line, as well as the plague of injuries and stupid assed penalties.[Edited on November 26, 2006 at 11:59 PM. Portee possibly ruined TAHe was in the process of ruining Andre before he got hurt. I dont know that for a fact, but its scary to think that Andre and TA both had great freshman years and stunk it up their sophmore years.[Edited on November 27, 2006 at 12:04 AM. The good thing is unlike with basketball, the football team should have some good talent back next year. We don't lose a whole lot with this group of seniors. Talent will not be an issue. It will be getting them to play together and as a team.

hahaha? portee ruined ta??? what are you talking about? the kid ruined his own career by not practicing, not taking care of his body, not holding onto the ball, and getting into disciplinary problems.ta sucked after his first year, because he fucked up his other knee, his shoulder, and broke his hand. then, throw in his poor attitude in regards to practices, rehab, and game preperation, it shouldn't suprise anyone he started to underperfom. the mofo was too arrogant. also, our o-line started to get their string of injuries and we had to start using 2nd and 3rd stringers - a problem that's been a constant over the last 3 seasons.ruining andre? again, wtf are you talking about? andre and baker both have had pretty damn good seasons. look at their total yardage and average per carry while splitting time 50/50. they both have nearly identical stats. if you were to combine their season stats into one, they'd have 1,200+ yards and averaging 5 ypc. that's all-acc type numbers, and all-america if it weren't for all the ridiculous numbers running backs like slaton, garrett, and rice put up this year.finally, andre's "injury" was a cover for being suspended for his threat to transfer.[Edited on November 27, 2006 at 12:12 AM. The argument that Reggie Davis was never a feature back (which I said he was in only a few games) is the argument I was trying to end with that post. Reggie was not a good running back especially compared to who he was playing behind, and Portee obviously could not coach him up to be better by his junior season. If you change the arguement, you win every time.

you are assuming the new coach wants to/can work with tressman. the OC is important and if i am a new coach at a new school i would want one of my guys as the OC... not someone elses hire. just my opinion. i'd keep the TE coach, or janitor or something, not the OC.
