I got a job outside of Raleigh and am looking for someone to take over my lease at University Commons. U Commons is on Gorman (on the Wolfline), right before you get to brent road. I'll give you $400 cash to take over my lease. The lease runs from January 2007 to January 2008 and the place is managed by Wilson Property Management. They're very cooperative and helpful; I've never had a problem in a year and a half of living here. There's plenty of parking - they never tow anybody, parties aren't a problem. Rent is 300/month plus utilities (water is free)The room is in a 4 bedroom apartment, and all rooms will be empty starting in January. It's on the first floor, so no stairs to worry about. Plus, there's a ground floor apartment below so no bugs. For pictures, features, blueprints, etc. go here:http://www.ncsuliving.com/univCommon/overview.htmlIf you have any questions/comments post or PM me.Thanks

It's in the 1511 buildingI'm not sure what basketball court they're talking about on that site either. I know we have access to the pool over at the Wilson Prop Mgmt office on Avent Ferry, so maybe it's over there somewhere.

wtf....I live in 1511 on 1st floor and never was told about the pool......not that I would use it.

about how much do you end up sending at the end of the month for this place?
11/28/2006 11:27:36 AM
It's a 4 bedroom place, so electricity, road runner, and cable split 4 ways usually runs about $45 a person. So all in all, about 345/month

do they move people in to fill the rooms on seperate leasesie, will i have any control on who moves in

I had some friends who lived in U-Commons for 2 years with 3 people living in a 4-bedroom apartment. The management said something one time about moving someone in, and even showed the place to some guy, but nothing came of it. So yes, they could move someone in to fill an empty room on a separate lease; however, I wouldn't expect it to happen.

Yeah, the management is good with working with you, so if you told them that you had friends that were going to move in in May or something like that I'm sure they'd keep the place open.Otherwise, like others have said, they could move someone in but I doubt it will happen.
