Pkease.1) the owner's manual thing that would have been in the glovebox when I bought the car - not there. What's it's proper name (owner's manual?) so I can find one and buy it? Amazon and google haven't turned up much yet, but I haven't been looking very long. Still trying to find it. 2) Will a Haynes or Chilton suffice instead?3) How hard is it to replace headlights? One of mine is out. 93 celica.4) Is there some sort of site out there with basic specs for my car (things like what size lights I need, size of tires)It's all greek to me :-\http://www.themotorbookstore.com/corolla-manual.html Will that be what I need?[Edited on November 26, 2006 at 2:24 PM. You can go to the dealer (or ebay) for the owner's manual. If you're not going to do much more than replacing your own headlight (not very hard, if you're handy w/this sort of thing) you probably don't need anything beyond the owner's manual.Ahmet

Haynes/Chilton's manuals, while lacking in many areas, are way better than factory owner's manuals...

advance or someone should do it for you if you buy the bulb there, just don't let them talk you into buying a new 710 cap [Edited on November 27, 2006 at 8:25 AM. Reason : hahahaha, halp]

^^^ done, and done (ordering a manual, and replacing the lights)^eh? i'm not a cute girl. I wouldn't ask someone working retail to change my lights. I figured it out...with some help, but I did it

I like Haynes the best, lots of detailed diagrams and lots of helpful pictures, covers tons of stuff.

you must have never ran into a helms manual then.or maybe they dont make one for your car.

The easiest thing for tires is probably just to go to tirerack.com and put in the year/make/model of the car.I doubt you really need an owners manual, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a service schedule and see what has/hasn't been done recently depending on what kind of records you got with the car and what the previous owner was able to tell you.

you have to look past the whole "how to fix things" part of a manual.they have what every control does, what every light that comes on does, how to power random things.im just saying, they are two completely different manuals. keep the factory one in the car where it belongs, there is a reason it comes with one. and the haynes manual at home or something
