you go for it? with our shitastic offnese?I supported Chuck all the way through the entire ride and continued to give him the benefit of the doubt even when it looked like we may lose this game but this call really did it for me. There is no excuse for such a dumb play call and although I am not on the firing bandwagon I have no more support and will not have any remorse if he is fired. Can anybody think of a good reason? This isn't the first time. There have been several times where he was going to do similar but a penalty changed his mind and everybody remembers the ending in Columbus that started the national "Chuck Sucks" movement. Then Daniel Evans. I never thought a qb could play worse than Jay Davis but this is the worst NCSU qb performance I have ever seen. At least Davis was moving the ball and fucking up instead of just fucking up.This is the worst loss I can remember and an all time low for the program.

LISTEN ITS NOT THAT SIMPLE
11/19/2006 2:59:03 AM
i agree, that was a terrible call. you punt it away and hope your defense can step up their game.he essentially ended all hope of winning the game when there was still 2:30+ left...

he essentially ended all hope of winning the game when he put on his headset

11/19/2006 3:11:58 AM
hait was 4th and 26
11/19/2006 3:14:24 AM
that was bout as dumb as the michigan/osu game. it was 4th and 10 for michigan with the whole second half to play and they went for it. they didn't get it. they were in field goal range. could have made those 3 points and later on they could have went to overtime since they lost by 3. just saying bone head coaching. btw- fire chuck!
11/19/2006 3:59:38 AM
if we had a QB, i'd definitely go for it.
11/19/2006 4:12:33 AM
all of you are fucking dumbasses. that WAS NOT a bad call.2:30 left. 3 timeouts. you're on the 15. punt. if you're lucky, carolina starts their drive around the 45. if you're lucky again, you get a 3 and out, but have to use up all 3 timeouts. assuming the punt takes 10 seconds, and each carolina play takes 5 seconds, there is 2:05 left. carolina punts, and you field it right where you just had it, but with no timeouts now. so essentially, the only thing to have come as a result of punting would've been wastage of time and using up all of the timeouts.tell me, how was it that dumb of a call to go for it????? seeing as how dumb as fuck our defense was playing, i really don't think we would've held carolina to a 3 and out on the punt. we probably would've spotted them 20 yards on penalties alone. it was certainly a questionable, ballsy move, but it wasn't as bad as all of you are trying to make it out to be.

^^thanks for typing all of that out so I don't have to do it.

I thought the worse call was when they didn't go for it on 4th and inches earlier, where all they needed was about 3 chain lengths.

the worst decision was not going for it when we were down 7 on fourth and inches on like the 45 with about 6 minutes left to go
