Dear tech talk, so I got this camera from a friend. It didn't want it anymore the reasons will be obvious in a second. What I'm wondering is, is it possible to fix it, can the camera be rebuilt, faster, better and stronger. It looks pretty ShnaaaazyI called sony they want 100 bucks just to look at it since, I have no papers, and I don't know of a camera shop that will repair lcd screens or dents in the casing.

just from the fuzzy pictures I'd guess the lcd is brokeif thats the case you should beable to still use it as a point and shoot, just use the viewfinderthe cost of digital cameras is now such that its usually much better to buy a new camera than repair an oldfor the 100 sony wants to charge you could get a new, halfway decent point and shoot

It's a sony cybershot, the lcd screen is cracked like someone hit it with a hammer, and there's a dent in the front.
