trying to find someone with a video projector that has a good picture who may want to "rent it out" for a day-

I know this is a bit og a weird request but willing to pay or trade for something good-

willing to ensure that it is going to be safe and only need it for 24 hours

let me know if anyone has anything that would work

Talley Student Center for like $5. I've rented them a couple of times, they're pretty decent. They also rent these little portable speakers.
