Lived there from September 2000 until July 2003ish between 2 separate apartments. Loved the office staff when I was there, and liked the layout of the apartments even though they were overpriced at the time.

A little on the old side -- had a leak in the roof of one apartment from a busted pipe in the apartment above us, and had a leak in a 2nd-floor apartment we moved into a few months later that took them 3x before it was finally fixed. And the dishwashers never worked right (I already washed dishes by hand though so it didn't matter).

Location is excellent though. Just about everything you could possibly want within 2-4 miles in any given direction. That's why I stayed there as long as I did.

try North Park or Olde Raleigh

they're in the same area, but they're a little nicer

i think i drove by them today. not a huge drive to fast food and walmart from there. not a bad place from the glimpse i got.
