I have a potential job up in WF off Capital. Does anyone work in this area? What are some places that young professionals live, near here, or anywhere in NR in general. Do you end up just driving down to Raleigh to go out?

It depends on your definition "going out"... I've lived in WF & NR my entire life... Wakefield is definitely one of the newest nice areas (Heritage is up there as well, but more family oriented and less established) to spookyjon... what nightlife are you talking about?? Wakefield shops/stores close up pretty early. Just recently they opened an exquisite italian restaurant that stays hopping pretty late into the night... and there's a brand new Mexican restaurant that just opened with lots of potential. As for bars & such-- there are little privately owned places that are nice-- usually somewhat family oriented sports bars (i.e. Front Row & O'Mulligans)It's growing so rapidly around WF that I'm not sure of a lot of the new stuff that has opened up... best wishes with the job.

There are some decent bars/resturants in North Raleigh, in Wake Forest they roll up the sidewalks at 10pm......

What are some apt. complexes that will have mostly people my age and not screaming little kids?
