yeah, they do that shit all the time. michael irvin is the only one that calls out his coworkers on that shit, and they all laugh at him. he is right though. the other week, the topic brought up was the romo/bledsoe debate. everyone immediately started thrashing t.o., and irvin was like, "wtf, does t.o. have to do with this? i thought we were suppose to be debating romo vs. bledsoe. he's only a distraction because the media keeps trying to make him one." everyone else was like, "har har, michael, you're so stupid. then, they get back to trashing t.o."

the 'sleeping celebration' might not have had anything to do with him falling asleep in team meetings. that's something the media assumed. as far as him bitching at the coach on the sidelines, he's only done that once. the other "bitching" episodes are, again, assumed by the media. just because he is talking with bledsoe on the sidelines doesn't mean that he is bitching at him. receivers and qb's talk on the sidelines all the time. the media sees t.o. doing that, and they automatically say that t.o. is bitching. they don't even know what the fuck t.o. and bledsoe were talking about.

he has pissed of one qb: mcnabb. everyone else have stated that they have no problems with t.o., and on the contrary, have repeatedly made supporting statements.

seriously, you're buying into the media's manipulation. sure, he has a very flamboyent personality, but the media has turned him into a villian. where was their criticism for steve smith and hines ward when they also missed camp and a couple of weeks in the regular season due to hamstring injuries? owens, had the same injuries as they did, but the difference was that he actually practiced some in preseason and was ready for opening day. where is steve smith's criticism for being outspoken about not being happy with his current contract? you rarely hear about that from the media, but we all know what happened with t.o. last year. where's the negative criticism, scrutiny, and spin surrounding chad johnson? he practically is t.o. reincarnated. johnson is widely regarded by the same t.o.-hating media as being charming, humorous, a good guy, etc. HE DOES THE SAME SHIT T.O. USED TO DO!

what t.o. did is nothing new. there have been scores of athletes who developed alter-ego's. he realized early on, most likely from his predecessors, that being flashy and garnering attention can do wonders for your career.
