ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now):"The nonprofit group defends itself from similar allegations nearly every election. This fall, thousands of registrations turned in by ACORN are coming under scrutiny in St. Louis, Denver, Philadelphia and Columbus, Ohio."http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stories.nsf/stcharles/story/08E45EED6B7E1BBC86257215007C8F94?OpenDocumentBy any means necessary--including fraud.

There is nothing conclusive in that article, except 4 fraudulent ballots have been found. The fired employee herself is pretty sketchy, and the challenge of 5000 registrations from poorer areas came from a Republican group (which is also sketchy). And I also wonder what the Republicans are telling the people they call to validate their registrations.

just goes to show that extremism on BOTH sides is the problem with our government

How many times has Randy mentioned "moveon.org"For as much as he claims that is what seems to be influencing democrats, he's the only guy I've ever noticed refer to it

Republican groups are in the same hot water. Let put people who try to perpetrate voter fraud in jail and not pretend it's a partisan issue.

^^^

i didnt know moveon.org existed untill he brought it up.

You really didn't know moveon.org existed until Randy mentioned it?Shit the thing was on CNN every 15 minutes during the '04 election

So, I guess the alleged voter fraud incidents in Denver, Philadelphia, and Columbus, Ohio, are just flukes? On top of the St. Louis incident? Seems to me that what is "sketchy" is defense of this left-wing group and its tactics.

simpsons did it

^^^ That article is a bit unclear. Anyone can "allege" voter fraud, but there is absolutely no evidence in that article of any wide-spread fraudulent activity. I think it's equally fraudulent for them to scrutinize the 5000 votes en masse, with no evidence, of lower-income areas to get them thrown on. I highly doubt those Republicans calling BS are doing so for honorable reasons. Also, it seems that in 2004, ACORN was accused of fraud, but later indemnified when their accuser had to admit in court that they were lying. This article is about this exact same story, but spun from the other side: http://mydd.com/story/2006/10/30/195410/27They are painting the Republican group as the fraudsters in this situation.http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/10/30/191920/50Here's another story of a Republican group pretending to be a democratic group, and calling voters at annoying times with annoying messages on purpose. This is actually the second incidence of a Republican group doing this, this election season.

Daily Kos? You might as well post some news from the North Korean Central News Agency. At least now we know where you get your news and we can stop taking you seriously
11/4/2006 1:48:40 AM
Did you really mean to use that smiley, or were you actually being facetious?
11/4/2006 1:55:53 AM
oh he is serious

Am I the only one that tries not to use some blatantly biased site when I post something?I mean, occasionally I'll let it go, but I usually try to go major network rather than the partisan hack sites.

^That's one of the sites I steer away from (for reading and for posting)I'd actually rather get my news from a source I hate, because our biases work each other out and we meet in the middle.

^^Well, the only exercise Randy gets is when he jumps to conclusions. After all, how do you think he became Tha Big Girl (aside from an identity crisis confusing boy and girl, or sex change, which would be as ironic as a prominant anti-gay religous leader having sex with a male prostitute)?[Edited on November 4, 2006 at 1:00 PM.
