I know this was in my last topic but I thought about making a thread...We should have like a penalty forum for just those who get suspended. They can argue their case, duke it out with each other or just try to make it up to people or w/e.And if you're suspended, you can only post in the Penalty forum and maybe have a limit to how many posts per hour or something. And you can have a count down to how many days/hours you have left on your suspension...So its basically like an e-prison on TWW. It can work for those who aren't connected and don't have others lobbying for them to get off suspension.
11/2/2006 5:13:55 PM
wow...that is a really gay idea.
11/2/2006 5:15:56 PM
the best part of getting suspended is making an alias and seeing how fast you can get it suspended too
11/2/2006 5:52:19 PM
^^ screw you, bitch i think it's a cool idea...i'd read that forum the most
11/2/2006 6:13:45 PM
this is worse than that time the cat got stuck in vents
11/2/2006 6:23:14 PM
no it's not
11/2/2006 6:25:16 PM
this is worse than that time a faggot wanted to know why gargs was suspended
11/2/2006 6:29:11 PM
I think a penalty forum would provide much needed humor to TWW as well as a reason to leave chit chat every now and then...
11/2/2006 9:09:52 PM
the penalty forum would be the new chit chat, so theres really no point, itd just be making chit chat into another loungeheheheheheh penal
11/2/2006 9:13:56 PM
^but only suspended member could post there. The rest of us can just sit back and watch them bitch it out...
11/2/2006 11:52:47 PM
Penalty forum?JESUS DUDE, GET A FUCKING OFF-LINE LIFE
11/3/2006 5:32:57 PM
Instead of a penalty forum we should have a trashcan
11/3/2006 6:13:21 PM
11/3/2006 10:09:14 PM
hahaha- only those who are suspended should be able to use it- then al the dipshits would get intentionally suspended to go duke it out with all the other interesting offenders.
11/4/2006 9:10:19 PM
Maybe some trolls will get e-raped and know their place in e-Oz
11/4/2006 10:57:54 PM
I puked into my toilet. Luckily I had just yesterday used that Lysol Mildew with Bleach product to clean the various mold/bacteria problems. I like puking into a clean crown.
11/5/2006 1:12:37 AM
^wtf?
11/5/2006 4:52:13 PM
this would be a good idea only if everyone else could read what they post in the penalty forum. If they get out of control in there, they they can be terminated. I like this idea even though its gay sounding!
11/5/2006 5:12:28 PM
I think you all are losing sight of the reasoning behind a suspensionit's to remove the privilege of posting on TWW
11/5/2006 5:15:06 PM
though it would be nice to A know when you'll be unsuspended and B be unsuspended when they say they're going to do it
11/5/2006 5:16:38 PM
The problem with letting people know about the terms of their suspensions is that they can't login to read messages while suspended. The mods keep a record of this in the mod forum, though (or at least we're supposed to), so if you have a question about a suspension, just ask. If you really don't understand the reason, somebody can probably find out. The majority of the time, the person already knows.OMG U DIDN'T TELL ME POSTING TUBGIRL IN TEH SOAP BOX WAS AGAINST TEH RULEZZ!!!

BRILLANT FUCKING IDEA, B. but motherfucks are afraid of change. this up there with my Religious Forum idea.
11/6/2006 1:39:26 PM
^^^ i was suspended for nearly a week and when i finally got someone to ask gunzz, he said that 1.) he didn't do it and 2.) no one owned up to it in the mod forumi've been suspended a few times, and probably deserved them, but that was re-fucking-tarded...and then i couldn't do anything to find out WHYit was only a problem because i was trying to get in touch with some tdubbers about money i owe them, and of course i couldn't do that...i wouldn't have done something suspension-worthy knowing that i needed information from peoplethe penalty forum would be cool so that you COULD ask why you got suspended and have it publicly (or privately, depending on what for) made known to you...also, you could limit posts to 1 per hour in that forum alone (as it IS a punishment...you shouldn't be able to create another chit chat just because)...and perhaps you could be denied the ability to send pm's, but receive them...or limit how many of those you can send per day, etci actually think the idea has merit
11/6/2006 1:45:19 PM
i think this is a pretty gay ideaunless it's named the Derek Morris Memorial Forumthen i'll go for it
11/6/2006 2:05:07 PM
so basically you people are asking the powers that be to spend hours building a new feature that will have a negative impact on their cash flow.gl with that
11/6/2006 2:11:09 PM
What we're asking for is some sort of accountability:1) A method of communication between suspended users and Mods 2) A timetable of how long your suspension lasts/and maybe a helpful description of why the suspension occured and a guideline for not getting suspensions in the future. 3) A temporary place where two TWWers can go and duke it out without gaying up Chit Chat, Sports Talk w/e by making threads like "SoAndSo is a fucking douche"4) A way for TWWers who don't have aliases or friends as vouchers to find out when they can post again. Plus, Mods are people just like everybody else on here so they can have their own biases towards certain posters. This forum can be a place for a Mod and a poster to share opinions and maybe come eye-to-eye in general standing.
11/6/2006 2:38:45 PM
For the record, I've never had a problem/nor been suspended from TWW so I am not claiming that any Mods are biased or that these situations have occured. I'm just observing situations/interactions that have gone on since I have been on here and offering some humble feedback.
11/6/2006 2:41:37 PM
Turning suspension into anything other than suspension is a bad idea.
11/6/2006 3:04:34 PM
11/6/2006 3:31:44 PM
They could always charge suspension fees....that might deter some folks from doing crazy shit. The fees could be like $10 to be able to log back on after your suspension is over. Hell, the prison system charges former inmates for room and board sometimes...
11/6/2006 3:34:17 PM
woah woah woah, let's back it up here a second.....it's was already mentioned that people are sometimes suspended without knowing why, and without a mod owning up to it...and now you're suggesting suspension fees?]
11/6/2006 3:47:51 PM
I'm just helping the brainstorm. I personally wouldn't think a fee would work and would actually ruin TWW. Plus, I still don't know what kind of money would be lost in creating a new forum so I'm just suggesting anything that can help make the forum feasible. For the record, I don't think fees are the answer but I would like for the forum to be possible...
