Does Herman Sampson teach ARE201? If so, take it, he's really a good prof. I got a lot out of that class.

Completely depends on the professor mbrown. I am a senior in ABM but with the BBM concentration and minoring in Economics. I was lucky and Mike Walden taught ARE 201 that semester so I took it over EC 201 because he is one of the best EC (or professors) that NCSU has in Nelson. Walden has his own segment on WPTF, a bi-weekly column in the N&O, and is an incredibly down to earth guy despite his notoriety in his profession. He often refered to "adult beverages" and was a great teacher. After taking his course I enrolled in the EC minor and havent looked back. With that said...I'm not sure he teaches it still. Even though it was labeled as a ARE course, as most ARE courses, there was little to no Ag slant. Research the professors, then make a decision. If you need other advise on the ABM major, PM. Hope this helps.
