I thought they'd be getting blown out tonight, especially without Kobe. And now they're up six. This team has some heart. And I <3 Bynum right now

They are totally dominating the Sunz.Very surprising.Looks like Kobe might not get any more 80 point games though

The Lakers look like a bubble team this year.
11/1/2006 1:15:23 AM
Let me start this season out by saying that Kobe didn't win last year and Shaq did....hmmmm, so much for the 81 points
11/1/2006 4:26:10 PM
fuck kobe and the lakers
11/1/2006 4:40:34 PM
Lakers fan huh??Let me guess, you are also a Yankees fan (or maybe St. Louis now), Patriots fan, Notre Dame fan...

^ If you're referring to me, it would be a Braves fan, 49ers fan, and an NC State fan.And if you're accusing me of being a bandwagon fan, I would be a Heat fan or even a Dallas fan before I would be a Laker fan.

Lakers - 110Warriors - 98I would have thought that the Lakers would have lost this one, as they always seem to do poorly during the second game of a back to back. Instead, they pulled away from the Warriors just as they did against the Suns the night before. Ronny Turiaf was the man who stepped up this time, getting over 20 points, all in the second half. And the Warriors were supposed to be a "sleeper pick" in the West this year. Then again, they're a sleeper pick in the West every year. Go figure. Next game: Friday vs Ray "He Got Game" Allen and the Sonics. Kobe may be back for this one.2-0! W00t![Edited on November 2, 2006 at 1:14 AM. Reason : score]

Ten bucks says that Wade doesn't win another championship within the next five years.

Kobe is expected to make his season debut tonight against the Sonics. Here's to hoping that he puts the lock on Ray Allen.

Lakers - 118Sonics - 112The Lakers blew a twenty point lead early in the first quarter and the Sonics made it a pretty good game. The Lakers were able to grind out the win and improve to 3-0 on the season.Kobe was a little rusty, but he still played a pretty good game. He didn't have as much "hop", as he blew a dunk because he couldn't get up enough. He's going to get better though with time. Turiaf was big once again, bringing some much needed hustle to the team. He definitely blocked a few key shots and got some big rebounds at the end of the game. Odom didn't get timid with Kobe on the court. Walton put up 20 points and he's like a poor man's Josh Howard in my eyes. Our bigs are going to be straight up nasty this year. Odom is playing awesome. Bynum is coming along nicely. Turiaf is banging down low and bringing a ton of hustle. Vlad is only going to get better as the hand gets better. Cook is solid and is a deep threat. And there's still Brown and Mihm, who can't be any worse than what we have already. That means we have tons of bigs to throw at the likes of the Clippers and Dallas and the Spurs. I forsee good things this year for my Lakers. 3-0! W00t

im glad to hear we are doing good. turiaf showed me a bright upside in the suns series. i thouth he should have played more. when you have the best player in the world it makes everybody better.

Kobe putting on a clinic. Absolutely on fire. And the Jazz aren't slouches on the D. 30 in the 3rd quarter. Nobody better when he's playing like this. Lakers up over twenty. They better not piss away this lead.
12/1/2006 12:45:07 AM
Kobe is a pretty damn good basketball player.
12/1/2006 2:12:54 AM
