reggie "lt wannabe" bush threw an interception in endzone earlier today. i think he may have lost a fumble also.[Edited on October 29, 2006 at 3:22 PM. Reason : ]

thx for the update
10/29/2006 3:22:28 PM
Yeah, at halftime of the bears-niners game, Terry Bradshaw was all like "Nice throw, bad result"Yeah, Bush threw a fucking duck into double coverage. Nice throw, indeed.
10/29/2006 3:22:41 PM
no lost fumble, butPASSING CP/AT YDS TD INTD. Brees 14/21 189 1 2R. Bush 0/1 0 0 RUSHING ATT YDS AVG TDR. Bush 5 16 3.2 0D. McAllister 4 7 1.8 0D. Brees 3 6 2.0 0maybe this will stop all of the "the saints are for real" shit, theyre down 35-7 to baltimore
10/29/2006 3:23:21 PM
i don't know why gametracker attributed the fumble to brees, when bush was clearly the one who fumbled.[Edited on October 29, 2006 at 3:25 PM. Reason : ]

^^ don't put that shit all on BushBrees has thrown two 12-yard touchdowns, one to LSU alum Ronnie Prude and one to Thibodaux, LA native Dawan Landry. They both play for the Ravens.WTG HOMECOMING![Edited on October 29, 2006 at 3:25 PM. Reason : ~]

The saints are for real, sure tehy are sucking it up big time against a pretty good team, but they are still playoff contenders.
10/29/2006 3:26:35 PM
Take away those two pick6 plays and you have a much closer gameRun game has been abandoned since the 2nd quarter,TD Colston
10/29/2006 3:29:51 PM
i know they'll go to the playoffs, and they're likely to win the nfc south, but they wont go to the superbowl. im sick of hearing all this fucking miracle team shit about them on espn, maybe this will bring them back down to earth where they belong.

^^^^ actually this just means people who don't like/care for the Saints can no longer say that the refs gave us the game or whatever. That's all I heard from Eagles, Falcons, and Bucs fans - refs gave the Saints the game, refs threw the game for the Saints, blah blah blah.I'm disappointed in this game, for the reasons I already pointed out above. Bush is looking like a backup RB again, we've thrown ANOTHER INT downfield, Deuce McAllister has basically been given no chance to do anything... this fucking sucks, I'm not gonna say "same ol Saints" but we've shot ourselves in the foot multiple times today^ They were both thrown inside BALTIMORE'S red zone. I'm not talking about long INT returns. I'm talking about giftwrapped touchdowns for the defense. Huge difference, there is.[Edited on October 29, 2006 at 3:47 PM. 10/29/2006 3:45:50 PM
not really. there are mistakes, fuckups, gimmes, or whatever you want to call them in every game. and it's not fair to discredit the defense for coming up big with some big plays in critical moments. that's their jobs.[Edited on October 29, 2006 at 3:52 PM. Reason : ]
10/29/2006 3:51:13 PM
And I'm saying take them away and you have a different game. I'm not even arguing that those two picks equate to 28-point turnarounds. They cemented our feet in the ground and made us abandon the run game well before we should have had to. That is all I am saying. Not a thing more, not a thing less.[Edited on October 29, 2006 at 3:53 PM. Reason : two fucked up passes made us have to pass the ball more, this isn't that hard]
10/29/2006 3:52:59 PM
Wow. I guess the Ravens stepped up the run D. Oh, andMARQUES COLSTON IS A GOLDEN GOD (at the TE position on my fantasy team)[Edited on October 29, 2006 at 3:59 PM. Reason : oh and what the shit happened to David Carr???]

How did this thread get to be about Bush/Saints? This make 3 out of four games that Mario has gotten a sack. The one he didn't have a sack he had 6 tackles, 5 of them quality stops (3 yards or less), including one tackle for loss. The scary thing is that he's still learning the game. He's quickly improving his pass rush techniques and still hasn't learned to read blocking schemes. If he continues to improve at this rate (knock on wood), he could be an all-pro by his third season, maybe sooner. I'm pleased with his improvement thus far and hope he keeps it up!

3.5 sacks. How funny thats the same number of times Russ1311 has thought about little boys today.

I still think it is funny that a lot of our fans were like Mario will be just like peppers....right.
10/30/2006 11:29:37 PM
Mario has been in the league for 6 fucking god damn games you cut scab....shut the fuck up and go back to ezu.
10/30/2006 11:32:17 PM
When did I ever go to ecu in the first place? Maybe I am wrong but going to greenville 3 whole times in my life sounds about correct. Another thing dude I read your posts and all you do is talk shit to people on here. Get a life. I actually know Mario so yeah I am pretty sure I can say what I feel like saying and in regards to being a state fan and also being a panther fan and watching JP in his first season I will again say. Mario will not be JP. I'll tell him right now if it would make you feel better. Have fun on the internet all night.
10/30/2006 11:41:55 PM
mario is on pace to have similar stats to peppers 2nd season in the league..i dont know what that means cause ive never watched peppers that much, but that cant be that bad for a rookie
10/30/2006 11:44:38 PM
10 sacks in 10 games? so far 3.5 in 8.
10/30/2006 11:51:32 PM
yeah all I do is talk shit about peoplebecause people like you on here are just stupid.

this is what nfl.com shows me for Peppers' 2nd season: g16 total44 tkl37.0 ast7 sack7 for mario after 7 games: g7 total22 tkl17.0 ast5 sack3.5so technically hes on pace for a better season i guess[Edited on October 31, 2006 at 12:10 AM. Reason : h]
10/31/2006 12:08:44 AM
I wish people would stop trying to compare him to anyone until he's been in the league for a season. I guess a peppers comparison is better than a Reggie Bush comparison, but Mario has obviously improved since his first game...I have no doubt that he will between now and the end of the season.
10/31/2006 12:13:45 AM
10/31/2006 12:34:37 AM
^^ well considering that Bush is supposed to be Galeshall Sanders, this is the better comparison
10/31/2006 12:39:28 AM
Well Reggie is already hurt. Like most running backs they light up fast and can fade fast. It sucks for the kid but putting your money all on one running back can have its draw backs.
10/31/2006 9:16:21 AM
hey jt money you posted this.... this is what nfl.com shows me for Peppers' 2nd season:g16 total44 tkl37.0 ast7 sack7 for mario after 7 games:g7 total22 tkl17.0 ast5 sack3.5so technically hes on pace for a better season i guessthis is MARIO's FIRST season. Check out Julius FIRST season stats. I still didn't understand why you were comparing marios season to peppers 2nd but anyways. I just thought it was funny that people were comparing him. You probably wouldnt want to see some of these news and online articles about mario if you were a big fan of his.I am a huge fan of his I am also a realist though.
11/2/2006 8:19:46 PM
well i just figured if mario was doin so bad, id compare him to julius' worst season(since people seem to think hes the best DE right now in the league), i honestly dont care that much, im not a big nfl fan(rather watch college), but i just wanted to see how he was goin so far compared to peppers...but yea i saw peppers first season, looked good, i dont know why his second season was so down, but i figure if mario stays strong and fast, hes gonna be pretty damn good
11/2/2006 8:27:13 PM
how old is peppersi dont think he has even peaked yet
11/2/2006 8:29:10 PM
27 or so I believe
11/2/2006 8:54:00 PM
dont players peak at like 29-31?
11/2/2006 8:56:44 PM
Based on this thread, Mario should peak this year in about 2 weeks, break every sack record in the NFL, and retire midway through next season.
