10/26/2006 9:48:40 PM
^^^yeah, those locations are still tentative.not guaranteed at crossroads yet. they are still working out some stipulations
10/27/2006 12:38:08 AM
I don't understand why they didn't schedule this halloween weekend.
10/27/2006 7:19:13 AM

10/27/2006 8:16:53 AM

10/31/2006 7:32:53 PM
hah. I was watching the trailer on the website and the damn thing just came on the sci-fi channel.
10/31/2006 7:51:13 PM
I'm even more certain that Crossroads will not be partaking in this event.
11/1/2006 12:19:53 AM
How come?
11/1/2006 12:33:38 AM
insider info.
11/1/2006 12:55:08 AM
sorry, I don't care to give out specific details. Don't wanna piss anyone off. It has a lot to do with that already being a big enough weekend as it if for the film industry
11/1/2006 12:56:28 AM
/sad pandaAs long as there is a showing somewhere within a reasonable driving distance I will be happy. I just like Crossroads 20.
11/1/2006 12:57:04 AM
yeah... Crossroads is nice, and close.Fucking Carmike 15 is awesomely ghetto. The parking lot could be scarier than the movie!
11/1/2006 1:03:24 AM
^Thorsten i'll go if you go
11/1/2006 1:11:14 AM
that's my birthday weekend. I wanna catch atleast one of those, but I don't know what kinda crazy shit will be planned that weekend. We will see.
11/1/2006 1:19:09 AM
Thorston is right... no crossroads. Here's the locations so per the website..Charlotte Ayrsley Grand Cinema 14 Charlotte Stonecrest 22 Fayetteville Carmike 12 Greensboro Carousel Theatre Hendersonville EPIC Theatres of Hendersonville Jacksonville Carmike 16 Raleigh Carmike 15 God, I hate Carmike 15. I wish North Hills was showing it.Can you see all 8 movies with 1 ticket or do you have pay a ticket for each movie?[Edited on November 9, 2006 at 9:20 PM. Reason : ..]
11/9/2006 9:15:09 PM
The price thing is kinda confusing. Do you pay per show, per night, or for the whole thing?
11/9/2006 9:42:51 PM
I was talking to my sister and she said that you pay per movie. She's in LA and their were no listings there. That was really strange.
11/9/2006 10:18:30 PM
i'm so down for this, we should organize a tww horrorfest party and all storm the theatre with dat 190% alcohol
11/9/2006 10:20:17 PM
^lmfao
11/9/2006 10:25:16 PM
"Too shocking for general audiences"lmaomore like "too shitty for general audiences, but people who like shitty gore movies would probably pay to watch it"
11/9/2006 10:40:43 PM
^you are correct sir.if these movies were THAT good....they would be playing worldwide with wide openings."too shocking" is just their way of suckering people to watch it. Look at how well Saw/Hostel/Hills Have Eyes, etc did because they marketed themselves as being incredibly shocking...so why would they all the sudden say, wait, these movie are EVEN MORE shocking. so shocking...we are going to only show it for a weekend.Just to give you guys some other info,What they are planning is, you buy each ticket, or as a set (possibly)supposed to show 3 movies during the friday, then those three movies again at night. (like from 11am-6 and then again from 7pm-2amish...same thing on saturday with 3 different movies...then on sunday with the last two movies, starting a bit later, like 1 pm, and ending closer to midnight.so you have two chances to watch each movie.that is what they were pitching to xroads atleast
11/10/2006 12:55:19 AM
Which movies interest ya'll the most? I want to see Dark Ride, Unrest, Wick Little Things, and Penny Dreadful.
11/10/2006 1:29:11 PM
I want to see them all except unrest, I have a thing about cadavers me and a friend are planning to go next friday.[Edited on November 10, 2006 at 4:50 PM. Reason : .]
11/10/2006 4:50:30 PM
bttt.. starts tomorrow
11/16/2006 10:12:33 AM
i don't know if they changed their dates at all theaters, but I noticed in the paper today that Carmike 15 is going to be doing this until Tuesday actually.I've decided just to wait and find out which ones are good, I'm not expecting much for half of them. One of them is David Arquettes (sp?) horror/comedy/musical that he has been working on for a while.I think the concept of Horrorfest is cool, for horror fans atleast, but I think in the end it's going to be a let down. Let's face it, if any one of these movies could hold its own it would be released alongside, or a week before Saw III.
11/16/2006 3:31:05 PM
^ or on it's own at any point
11/16/2006 4:07:53 PM
anybody go see any of them today? I know Dark Ride, Unrest, and Reincarnation were on. I'm going to see Penny Dreadful tomorrow and Wicked Little Things on Sunday.
11/18/2006 12:58:45 AM
Saw Dark Ride. It had the catcher from The Sandlot in it. I expected better, personally.
11/18/2006 3:18:54 AM
I just saw Penny Dreadful. It was dreadful. I expected alot more from it.I hope Wicked Little Things doesn't suck as bad.
