The only problem with karting is that weight plays such a big role. I got lapped by a 110 lb girl one time that couldn't drive for shit.

Depends on the carts. I got beat by the lighter guys at the place down in Charlotte, but they were only beating my lap times by less than a 1/10th of a second, and I was giving up at least 60 pounds to them.

heavy people have to drive completely different... its not the shortest route anymore its the one that conserves the most momentum

Yeah, it's not a "fair" judge of driving abilities, and it looks like several people would have a home court advantage (I've only been there once myself), but people would still be able to see who can drive and who can't...and it'd be a total f'n blast regardless.
