406 sucks because of the teacher, but their is a diff teacher coming in to teach the second half of the class, so i think it will improve

i dont think 410 exists anymore

im taking 442, and 403 in the spring, thats all i got

410 isnt offered anymore. it was supposed to be "combined" with 310 but some 310 profs wont teach anythin other than what they're required to.

air con is at 8am so if u have an issue with 8am classes, this is not for u. it's early because i believe gould is teaching it and he has to get back to his duties as dept head after class.

there's no way I'd take 410 anyway, I didn't like 310

unfortunately, the only section offered of 442 is closed! And I'd like to take 403 but the 8am is a deal breaker

442 isnt a small class, it has something like 80-90 kids in there, at least thats how many seats I saw open when I registered for it. 407 i think is gonna be a small one tho.

i liked 421, the project was pretty cool, the tests were pretty straightforward (although you have to pay attention to some conceptual things that he discusses in class), and the homework is not too bad

442 is the easiest course I think I've ever had in MAE....no tests and I spent about an hour, maybe two hours a week on homework, and the final project was easy. If you can get in take 442

I don't think they'll let anyone else in 442. It was 90 seats, they upped it to 100 and the extra 10 seats got taken too.

if only I'd thought of it, I could've asked one of my super senior friends to sign up for 442 and then drop it later

guess I'll hound tracs for an open spot, out of 100 people someone will drop it (I hope)

Having 111 credit hours in ME should be considered junior status

[Edited on October 25, 2006 at 1:19 PM. Reason : 412 is a good class, it probably has seats open]

i took 408 with affify back in the day. its a pretty neat class, it really just thermodynamics as it applies to the ICE.

when i was in school, 410 and 412 were both required classes. neither were terribly difficult.
