Scratched but otherwise in great shape - stored in basement when not in use. I purchased it from Kitty Hawk Kites at the beach after 1 or 2 seasons of use and have taken it out on local lakes 20 times or less in the past 3 years. I love the boat - just more of a bike person. This is a stable flatwater kayak, easy to paddle and steer, not too heavy for 1 person to lift, and overall an excellent choice for day or overnight trips.
