I've got a friend who is considering working at the Coach Store. Anyone ever work there before? If so -- what type of pay should she expect? Commission? How is the environment? This will be her second retail job -- picking it up part time for the holidays, maybe longer - currently she works full time at a major company in the area in a non retail job. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

my friend did 12/hr 50% off bags in the store 65% off at the outlet. I would do it if I had any retail experience just because I spend thousands in there each year, but I don't have any experience. I think she should go for it, and if she doesn't like coach bags and stuff she should let me buy some with her discount and I'll slip her a little cash...

i would imagine working at coach would be pretty easyi mean its not like they have the sort of clientele that will come in there and make a mess.

^^well when I spend around 250-300 per bag and get at least one bag every season for myself, that's a minimum of 1000/yr. However, my addiction to totes and more professional/non-signature bags as well as shoes has pushed me into the 2000-3000 range every year...

Way to buy into the American consumer whore lifestyle. Makes me want to beat my head in with a brick.
