one of our fords last week developed a fuel leak, evidently due to a leaky ring. according to my diesel mechanic its happening quite a bit latley, he believes due to the fuel change over. He says he's been replacing them on all makes and once they're replaced you don't have to do it again. so everyone check your trucks for fuel puddles.

It's a common problem on the HEUI unit injectors on the Powerstroke/T444E/VT365 engines.

p7100...close enough!I like the Bosch VE. Doesn't have as much power potential, but it's a good design. It has a timing advance built in. The P7100 doesn't.However, the P7100 is lubed with engine oil. The VE relies on the fuel for lubrication.
