lets seelast year they had no after Duece got hurt, with him they had a threatBrooks wasnt half the QB Brees isBush is a viable option as a run/pass threat and backup to Duece this yearthe Defense has a good pickup with the Stallworth Trade.i mean the parts were already in place preseason to have a LOT better year than last year, the columnist and media seem to be blowing NO's dick about their 'great year' so far. But if u really look at it, why wouldnt they have a good year?? If anything the Titans turnaround under Young, or Tampa Bays turnaround without Simms, or maybe even the fact that chicago has an offense this year...those may be the bigger storiesbasically, im tired of hearing how surprised everyone is about NO and this whole 'city in recovery' thing is played and hyped up. its not that big of a deal or surprise.

First year coaching staff, first year QB in our uniform... top RB returning from injury, top WR returning from injury, 7th round pick starting at WR, completely re-structured linebacking and WR corps, patchwork OL...I agree that last year's Saints team wasn't morbid - under normal circumstances, I believe we would have at least doubled our win total - but it's great to see the Saints winning now. Add in the Reggie Bush Effect (for the media, if not on the field) and thats why folks are talking...

i have a theory, i think the nfl convinced texas to pass on bush so NO can have something to be excited about...

i mean think about it, the nfl got critisized for not helping the new orleans enough during the recovery, then they just happen to get the most exciting back in 20 years on the second pick.

most exciting college backL'dT is a better NFL back at the moment as far as flashiness goes...at the moment.

The Saints do look pretty good.Of course last year they would have looked at least fairly good if they had Duece.I think it is more of a situation where they had almost all of the peices except a couple, and they got them in Brees and Colston. It's kind of what they predict to happen in Arizona every year, but it always happens somewhere else, now it is happening in New Orleans (and St. Louis) [Edited on October 15, 2006 at 11:21 PM. u just left out houston and replaced them with tampa and arizona hahaha, righttttt, good going thereif Zona had a Line they would actually be one of the best offenses in the NFL.

off topicwhy do radio hosts keep confusing donovan mcnabb, daute culpepper, and steve mcnairive heard this numerous times in just one week, is there like a black quarterback compartment in the brain that they just store all these names at?
10/15/2006 11:37:41 PM
I've never heard any analyst confuse McNabb with anyone.I have heard some of them confuse Rivers and Brees though.

^^ as long as they leave Aaron Brooks and Byron Leftwich out...

watching The Blitz, after the Saints highlights:Tom Jackson doesn't even mention McAllister as being key to the team's successChris Berman says we've won 2 home games (actual number is 3)you'd think that if they're gonna n00b all over us, they could at least get some simple things right
