Has anyone had either of these profs? Martin has a good grade distribution, but Franke's is not bad either. Any suggestions?

I had Franke, hes a nice guy and a pretty good teacher. he makes you do group homework assignments, which i think is good. but if thats not your thing...

I hear martin is an excellent teacher, but have never had him.

These are quite possibly the two best classroom instructors in the MA department. I had Franke for 425 and Martin for 515 (for which 425 is a pre-req). They are both really outstanding, and you won't go wrong with either.

meanwhile, i'm nervous about having an adjunct prof w/ texas style 60's hair as my 426 teacher.
