I have to take a stupid economics class for my humanities requirement, what is the difference between these? I'm assuming the H stands for honors? If not, is it a corequisite or what?

yea it's honors...just slightly more in depth or advanced

classes are usually much smaller too. and sometimes the professor is significantly better.

there used to be a lab or problem session attached to regular ec205, something the honors section didn't have to worry about. not sure if things have changed since then, though

Yeah there is an EC 205L associated with EC 205

Yeah I had honors with Knoeber, I hated that class. It wasn't really that hard, though my only B+, I just hated it. It was entirely lecture and always about vague perfect world theory, not actual situations and there was very very little math, and all of the homeworks and tests were basically just writing essays about theoretical situations. He's an ok guy, seems to be an introvert, but that class bored me to death, I had no respect for him. I always just had to bullshit the hell out of the assignments and you never really could tell what grade you were going to get, because he always had a specific type of answer in his head yet the questions were somewhat vague and open to interpretation.[Edited on November 29, 2006 at 5:05 PM. Reason : maybe i should've put this in school tool]
