1) How is the fund raising going for the course?
2) Any word on groundbreaking....etc.
3) Is the design finished/finalized?

Someone told me today that they're 3 million away from the 16 million dollar budget.


Of course they were supposed to break ground in 03 and be done by the summer of 05. I wouldnt be surprised if it was 10 years before we see a golf course on centennial.

if someone wants to purchase the naming rights to the golf course for 3 million then they can break ground as soon as the money is in place.

Miami and Wake Forest don't have turf programs he means schools like Maryland, Virginia Tech, and Clemson.

They had the official groundbreaking in Oct. 2012, and the N&O article projected a 10 month timeline for the project.

I am sure it will take a bit longer, and it also mentioned that they were still 700k short in October. Hopefully its fully funded.
