Ok, this is more of a chit chat thread but the sports talk posters might get a kick out of this little stupid story.I was traveling with a business partner from Australia last week in TN and TX. He is a big rugby fan and he recently picked up Madden for his Xbox to learn more about american football before his trip to the states.he was telling me how hard it is to understand the different defenses and what not so he said to make it simple, he would just keep throwing the "bloody mary" down the field....haha

Its probably how some Europeans would laugh at me while playing FIFA 06. I usually only have possession of the ball about 20% of the game but score mad goals because I use a pick and roll tactic like you do in basketball. I pick the ball and dribble in the clear until i get to the goal.

Ha ha that is funny. I think it is cool that some European dude is trying to learn our football by playing Madden. That is basically how I learned about hockey. I didn't understand any of that icing or offsides shit when I was little, but once I started playing Sega Hockey games, I learned damn quick (and then turned off Offsides so I could score 30 goals a game).

^haha, I learned football with Joe Montana Football '94

yeah, he is a real cool dudehe even bought an authentic american football to take home with him to practice withat one of the shows we were at there was a football throw machine for the reps to play and win a prize ... during the break, he and I asked the company w/ the game if we could play and my friend had no idea on how to throw it....he threw worse than a girlit was so funny instead of trowing the ball the correct way he kinda of threw it sideways: imagine holding a football the right way then turning your wrist in and throwing the ball with the side facing outyou had to be there to appreciate that

^thats kinda how you throw it in rugby.
