Im looking at the teachers for MA 225 for Spring 2007, and im trying to decide between a new teacher (zanto or something) and williams. I know Williams grade distribution sucks, but what do you think? Are they a bad teacher, hard class, or whats the deal? thanks

This is a tough class for most students, regardless of the instructor. This is the class where you learn the art of writing a mathematical proof, a pre-requisite for success in most MA 4xx classes.

I had a grad student, it wasn't too bad. The book that we use here is great, so as long as you keep up with the reading, you'll do fine.
