yes...western union transactions are not covered by ebay...send the thread to an ebay representative they will tell you if it is authentic...my roommate tried to buy champions league tickets last year through a similar offer and it was a scam!

yeah def. a scam. Whenever Western Union is required, you know it's sketchy.

Oh yeah...and anytime someone demands all that personal info about you...it screams identity theft. Definitely wouldn't do this...

eBays buyer protection center???? anytime someone makes up official sounding shit like that u know its a scam.

whatever, western union isn't an escrow service

hahaha, wtf is that.

and yeah, western union should be pretty obvious. paypal actually works towards shielding buyers/sellers from these scammers...western union doesn't give a shit.

oh and also anytime someone sends a huge email like this (esp when the item is listed on ebay and theres no need for all of these details) its def a scam

also just look at the guys feedback and selling history:

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=mkorsi&iid=190037807437&ssPageName=VIP:feedback:2:us

He has some negatives, that should send off the warning bells. click on the "from buyers" link to see what past buyers have said about him.

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedbackFromBuyers&userid=mkorsi&items=-1&item=190037807437&de=off

then you'll see that hes only sold 3 things before , his other 133 transactions were from buying shit. now if you look at his active items for sale:

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZmkorsi

all of the sudden hes selling a shitton of tickets...and they all look exactly the same. to make it worse, he's not posting the actually buy-it-now on ebay, hes saying "email him" to buy-it-now which is a violation of ebay rules and unsafe for the guyer since its an off ebay transaction.

oh and then I just noticed this:
Quote :
"I am selling this tix for my boss ,he is a huge fan, but we are in a middle of
somting importand and weare located in UK ,and so are the tix!"

OH OK, YOURE SELLING THESE FOR YOUR BOSS THE HUGE FAN BUT YOU'RE SELLING 300 TICKETS FOR NFL/NCAA GAMES ACROSS THE COUNTRY NOW!

so yeah, its a scam.
