Gl, you can find the same specs on a dell at 600 for a new one if you catch it right.
10/2/2006 1:48:34 PM
Dell's most basic, crappiest, slowest, smallest laptop starts at $499 (that's ofcourse without a student discount). Not to mention Dell's customer service has been an issue lately. Anyways, if a Dell is cheaper and you can find one with what you need for the same price, then by no means don't let me stop you from buying it, I would buy it too! However, I didn't want a Dell, so I bought this. Also, if you don't mind, please build a Dell notebook with the same specifications and post it up here so you can show the others it only costs $600.

never had anything but intel processors... how is the AMD turon?
10/4/2006 8:04:33 PM
The new AMDx2 64 bit processors are very nice. Nothing but good things about them in reviews, that's why I bought it. It seems the future of processors is nothing but 64 bit. For multitasking this computer is perfect!

will you sell the carrying case seperately? i have a dv9000d
10/4/2006 10:59:33 PM
Honestly I would have, but I think I already have the laptop sold and I told the guy everything was coming with it. If something changes I will let you know. On the other hand, I bought it from Best Buy for 19.99, it fits perfect inside a bookbag as well.
