Ive always said Clemens has been on them.I don't really like Clemens, but if this turns out to be true....baseball is in trouble.

Baseball isn't in any trouble. I don't know why people say that. Just like the NFL wasn't in trouble when the Panthers story came out (and was swept under the rug pretty much, which is a whole different issue -- ESPN catering to the NFL but not MLB?)...Everyone knows Tejada and Clemens juiced anyway..

Ehhh I don't know this is Roger Clemens we are talking about.Probably the best pitcher of the last 20 years...him or Maddux...and now people KNOW he juiced.

roger clemens used PED?boyi am so shocked
10/1/2006 12:48:32 AM
yeah ive always thought Clemens was a likely candidate. He's so grouchy and volatile.... and he's an ace at the age of 44.Everyone suspected him, he's void of morals anyway

get ready for some pretty vehement denial
10/1/2006 11:49:59 AM
I don't know what this is all about. It's perfectly normal for pitchers to throw harder in their 40's than they ever have. Happens all the time. It's just a really great....ummm...workout program....

Yeah that is why Jamie Moyer's fastball tops out at like 83 MPH!
10/2/2006 3:24:39 PM
remember he is accused. Bonds* has documentation from several sources that he juiced. And he used the line "if I did it, I didn't know I was doing it."
10/2/2006 3:25:49 PM
I'm not complaining, but I don't understand why this isn't a bigger story. If Bonds was named in this, ESPN wouldn't be able to go 5 minutes without talking about it

hopefully now Palmeiro's name will be cleared.it was obvious even at the time that Tejada was the one that set it all up.
