Anyone able to fix or know of a reputable shop around here that can fix my tint on the back glass. I had my car "professionally" tinted about 3 years ago, but those 4 or 5 100+ degree days made a few bubbles in the back glass. I'm not looking to spend an arm and a leg, but I am willing to pay for quality work. Thanks.Dan

The only realy way to fix it is to take it off and redo it. You can always slit the bubble and reseal the area, but it will always be visible unless redone.

That's what I meant, I just want the back glass re-applied. Also, the place that did the tint the first time has moved, so I'm looking for referrals or someone on here that can do it and has access to tint/knows where to find the color to match the front (though I'm sure that Llumar isn't too hard to come across).

Formula 1.If you do a search of the garage for tint, you will find a lot of responses.

Good call. I wanted to post it in the Classifieds to see if it was a service someone could provide as well. Thanks.

I got tint done on my truck at Car Audio and Security off of Capital up near Wakefield and Wakeforest, behind the Golden Corral, same shopping center as the Walmart. It cost about 130 for two windows and my back window tint, and the guy is only there on certain days. I would reccomend doing it yourself unless you are getting the tint job done "professionally" for a present.

The only problem with Pete is that he only deals with SunTek products... and to match the other 4 windows I need the back glass in Llumar film of the same type.

if you had it "professionally" tinted, then they usually have a lifetime warranty against bubbles/workmanship (i hear).

But you have to have the reciept. I have the warranty card from llumar and it has the dealer that installed it, but I don't have the actual reciept for the money I paid. My name and car info are on there, but the shop that did it is no longer there. I doubt that a shop that didn't install my tint is going to repair another person's 3 year old work that simply bubbled in the heat wave we had over the summer. But that's a good point, I might have to check another llumar dealer in the area... anyone know of one?
