Take

Interesting article linked from LA Daily News on redandwhitefromstate.com

http://www.redandwhitefromstate.com/article.php/20060927103851346

Personally, I would rather have Norm Chow than even Cowher at this point. Just a personal opinion, and I know Big Bill is a dream hire for a lot of you on here, but Norm would be phenomenal for this program.

Not giving up on Chuck yet, just thought this was an interesting tidbit....

discuss...

Imagine (Okay, I am realistic here but just imagine) if we had Bill Cowher AND Norm Chow AND Chuck Amato on our coaching staff.

Cowher = HC
Norm = OC
Amato = DC

We didn't let him go. He left to go to USC and get back towards the West Coast. I'm pretty sure Fowler and Amato tried their hardest to keep him. If we could somehow get him back though, that would be awesome.

Eh, David Glen is part of a major "news source" and he has no fucking clue what he's talking about.

He makes up rumors to get more people to click on his page and try to sound 'connected'

This is probably similar. I'll take it with a grain of salt. If Chow comes back it'll be a west coast team..... for the same reasons he left NC State in the first place

During the basketball coaching search he was pulling things out of his ass (Such as we interviewed Phil Ford)

He also pulled the "BREAKING NEWS - COMING SOON! HUGE DEVELOPMENT!" crap on a daily basis.

Dude, David Glenn is one of the most respected ACC journalists. He knows what he's talking about more than any other media source, pretty much.

Ty Detmer... NCAA all time yardage leader (or did Chang pass him?)

We'll agree to disagree. I'm pretty convinced he was making shit up to get a few hits on his blog on a daily basis during our coaching search. Anywho... this isn't Glenn so it doesn't matter.

Great recruiter... mediocre coach. Give me Dixon any day

I now hope Chuck loses every single game from here on out, forget this whole Daniel Evans redemtion thing...lose every game so we get a great coach. Imagine our offense if norm was back Andre would be a heisman candidate
